Paving The Way: Yin And Yang
I firmly believe there are no right or wrong decisions but only consequences in the life you're given. Everyone has their share of wrongdoings and with that comes lessons. As we grow older, there's a lot of self-realization and awareness brought to our attention we never come to conclusions about. We start to drift. We start to want to experience new experiences, meet new people, travel the world. Even if we start to leave people and past lives, your wants start to manifest on their own and cause lots of friction in your life.
I had moved from San Jose to live in San Francisco about three years ago. Away from friends, away from family, and created a new life. Three years later, I had moved back home and have been trying to make sense of why I don't feel the same about the relationships and I have back home as I once did before. This was a terrifying experience and I felt as if my life was falling apart as I was at a loss of friends. I had spent months alone battling with myself with my brain split in two.
I started to question if I was on the right path of life and if I was essentially doing the right things in life to get me to where I want to be. Turns out some of things are out of the blue from what you might think.
Here are some of the ways to help you realize you're on the right path!
- Questioning yourself/Self doubt
- You can think of self doubt as traits of negative thinking and start to believe the things you're saying to yourself, but if put into perspective, you can battle with yourself to become your greatest version.
- Bumping into anxieties and fears
- Everyone has their anxieties or fears. Whether it comes in forms of friends, places, or jobs, naturally we want to rid their anxieties. To do so, we must dig deep into our consciousness and seek the truth about our feelings. When we do, we become much closer to ourselves and become aware of the things that trigger ourselves. When these anxieties arise again, we become more knowledgable about how to handle them in certain situations.
- Feeling uncomfortable and afraid
- Growing is an important part of life. The universe works like nature and will find a way to push you to grow whether you like it or not. You might feel afraid of not finding a job after college or not being successful. Whether you're doing what you can or not, the universe will find a way to push you out of comfort to explore new things outside of your normal life, teaching you lessons on the way. I assume we all want to be happy and live awesome lives. These things will manifest on their own.
- Feelings of bliss/happiness for no reason
- You ever get that feeling in your gut that makes you laugh or giggle to yourself when no one is watching? No one else is around you making you feel anything but yourself. You're happy to be alone. Most importantly, you're at peace with yourself and don't need another person to make you feel safe and secure.
- Friendships are fading
- As you continue to grow, you start to gravitate towards different types of people who think differently, from your childhood friends or even your family members. You start to become aware that your levels of energy don't match anymore and seek to find people who do. You start to find yourself a little more in new people you meet.
- Following your own belief system
- You do not confide to society. You are brave enough to say what you believe and act towards those beliefs. You don't care what other people are doing their lives except for your own because it is taylor-made for yourself and you like it that way. Although, you care for people, you start to become aware that every one is different and everyone has their own life path.
- Sychronicity
- There are no coincidences and no accidents. Things ultimately happen for a reason. Pay attention to these things as you go about your day and bring meaning to them. Seeing 11:11 or 4:44 on the clock constantly is a good sign you are on the right path!
